She's loved but she will not eat

We played with crumbs of muffin in bed today. The bright 2y5m girl had been hungry since morning. However she would not open her mouth wider while being fed porridge at 3pm today. At the back of her mind, she remembered eating always bring about stomach pain. She’s been very careful with putting food in her mouth since a year ago. The fear of eating has caused her weight to grow very slowly. 

Every half a spoonful of porridge gotten through her mouth came out quarterly filled still. She’s only given 4 spoon of feed before she started to gag and vomit.

It was not hard to tell the mom and dad were loving parents. Kisses were all over her tiny face during the short 60 minute of visitation. I fully believed her mom when mom said she has danced, coaxed and even jumped to make her daughter eats.

Such a loving family is stressed out by their only daughter is facing feeding difficulties. I am glad to have met this family. I am grateful that they will come back again in a month.
